Fresh Indigo Dyeing-September 16th

This is a 2-hour class during which we will harvest indigo from the field, learn to process the plant and make an ice bath to dye materials with. We will answer questions and provide tips for growing your own indigo at home. This is a casual bring-your-own dyeable materials class, but the indigo will be provided. See below for recommended material and sources. If you are signing up late for this class and do not have time to order materials please contact us, we may have some available scarves.

Recommended Materials:

**All materials must be protein fibers for this technique to work well! Wool or Silk

You can bring things from your closet that are 100% wool or silk and white or very very light in color.
